Our goal is to promote safe, responsible, ethical and informed youth who are involved in outdoor activities and learn about the principles of a healthy lifestyle. We have a year-long competition season that's recognized by Fountain Fort Carson High School as a varsity sport.  Our program participants increased in size to 30 participants this year that compete in Sporter Three and Four-Position Air Rifle Competitions.

Our team has club affiliations with the National Rifle Association, the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), VFW and the American Legion.  Our team competes the Southern Colorado Rifle League and various NRA national events. We host an annual postal (mail-in) match (Ronald J Tucker Memorial Open Air Rifle Match) dedicated to a former cadet who died in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. We also host an annual CMP Cup shoulder to shoulder match in the first week of December called the Rocky Mountain Regional CMP Cup Match . We are members of the Southern Colorado Rifle League.

The program Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) can be downloaded by clicking this link:   Trojan Marksmanship SOP.
